I prefer the digital Canon
EOS system. It offers more in terms of speed, resolution and control over the
resulting image. All of my lenses are the ÒLÓ series type that is the best
professional glass Canon has to offer. The Camera body I prefer is the Canon
EOS 1d Mark II. This is sufficient for files that are virtually flawless even
up to 30ÓX60.Ó
When I get a request for
photography that requires complex camera movements and a much larger capture I choose
my Sinar 4Óx5Ó camera that converts to digital with the 22-megapixel Sinarback
54.
All digital post-production is performed with a choice of the best software in Canon Photo Professional, Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Capture-One software on MacIntosh computers. My monitors are current and calibrated monthly by using Eye-One Greytag Macbeth software tools. Raw photography files are converted to .dng and archived two ways on removable hard drive and CD, DVD Rom media.
I have been using Photoshop
since version 2.5 in 1992 and advance my post-production training by daily use
and attending workshops. The internationally known speaker ÒPhotoshop-DivaÓ
Katrin Eismann holds a Photoshop seminar I highly recommend. (http://www.katrineismann.com/)
